Work at Dicksons of Inverness
The motor trade is full of opportunity and at Dicksons, we’re here to help you make the most of it.
We’re a business built on good people. People who show up, get stuck in and support each other. It’s fast-paced and hands-on, with no two days the same… but that’s exactly what makes it exciting.
We’re passionate about bringing new talent into the industry. Whether you’re leaving school, changing direction, or looking for a fresh start, there’s a place for you here. As a trainee, you’ll get the chance to learn from experienced colleagues, build real skills, and grow in confidence every day.
At the same time, we recognise the value of experience. If you’ve already got experience in the motor trade (or bring strong skills from another industry) you’ll be trusted to make an impact. Plus, there’s real scope to continue building your career here.
A career in the motor trade can take you further than you think.
We believe in developing our people to be the best at what they do and give real opportunities to progress. Many of our team members have been with us for more than a decade. They’ve grown with us - moving through the business and stepping into leadership roles across sales, service, parts, admin and the workshop.
It’s a professional environment but not a stuffy one. We take pride in the job and we work hard, but we get on as a team and there’s plenty of personality behind it all. We take what we do seriously but not ourselves. From team events to the content we share, there’s always laughter behind the scenes.
Sound good? Check out our current opportunities below and get in touch if you think you’d fit in. Even if there isn’t a role that suits you right now, we’re always on the lookout!
