We are thrilled to announce our donation of a Nissan Townstar van to the Highland and Islands Blood Bikes, a vital service supporting communities across the Highlands.
Highland and Islands Blood Bikes is a registered charity (SC049345) based in the Scottish Highlands. Its sole purpose is to provide free courier services for the NHS, transporting essential medical supplies and samples. The charity operates from its main base in Inverness, with additional hubs in Wick, Fort William, and Oban.With no Government or NHS funding, the charity relies entirely on donations and grants to sustain its operations. All members are unpaid volunteers, ensuring that 100% of the funds received go directly towards running this crucial service.
At Dicksons, we are proud to contribute by adding another vehicle to their fleet, supporting the invaluable work they do within our community. Dicksons and HAIBB – the bloodline of the Highlands.

Competition Terms & Conditions
- Organiser
The competition is organised by Dicksons of Inverness (referred to as “the Organiser”). - Eligibility
- The competition is open to individuals aged 18 and over.
- Employees of the Organiser, their immediate families, and anyone professionally associated with the competition are not eligible to enter.
- How to Enter
- Entries must be submitted via the form on the Dicksons of Inverness website.
- Participants must provide their name, email address, phone number, and suggested name for the van.
- Each participant may submit one entry only.
- Entry Period
- The competition opens on 13/12/2024 and closes at 5pm on 19/12/2024. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
- Selection of the Winner
- The winning entry will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by the Organiser.
- The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence regarding the decision will be entered into.
- Prize
- The winning entry will be chosen as the name of the new HIABB van.
- The winner will receive a £50 Amazon voucher.
- The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
- Notification of the Winner
- The winner will be contacted via the email address or phone number provided during entry within 14 days of the competition closing.
- If the winner does not respond within 7 days, the Organiser reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
- Use of Entries
- By entering the competition, participants grant the Organiser the right to use their submitted van name for promotional purposes and to display it on the van and related materials without additional compensation.
- Privacy
- Personal details provided by participants will be used solely for the purposes of administering this competition and will not be shared with third parties, in accordance with the Organiser’s Privacy Policy.
- General
- The Organiser reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
- By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
