At Dicksons of Inverness, we’ve always believed in the power of community, and we’re thrilled to announce our exciting new partnership with Eden Court. We are proud to be the main sponsor of the much-loved annual pantomime for the next three years!

Pantomime season is a magical time of year, bringing families and friends together to share in the joy, laughter, and fun that only a panto can deliver. As a family-run business, we understand just how important these traditions are to people across the Highlands, and we couldn’t be happier to play a part in making them happen.

Our partnership will officially begin with Snow White in 2025 and will continue through to the end of the 2027 pantomime season. But our collaboration with Eden Court doesn’t stop there – we’re also delighted to have agreed a corporate partnership across the year, supporting the fantastic work they do in bringing arts and culture to our local community.

Celebrating Creativity & Family Tradition

Susannah Armitage, Head of Live Performance + Senior Producer at Eden Court, shared her enthusiasm about the partnership: “The annual pantomime at Eden Court is a central fixture in our calendar and one of the most important events in our programme as this is when most audiences come through our doors, and it can also represent some audiences' first experience of the magic of theatre. It is important to us that our sponsors share our values and our excitement for pantomime. We cannot create the quality of experience that we have become known for without their support. We are therefore delighted to begin working with local firm Dicksons of Inverness on Snow White and beyond. Welcome to the ‘panto-sphere’ Dicksons!"

For us at Dicksons, this sponsorship is more than just putting our name to an event – it’s about celebrating a tradition that means so much to people across the region. Our Managing Director, Fraser Bryce, perfectly captured our excitement: “As a family-run business, already deeply committed to supporting the local community, we’re delighted to have agreed a major partnership with Eden Court as the main sponsor of the Pantomime for the next three years. The fun, engaging nature of the pantomime aligns perfectly with our ethos of creating enjoyable and memorable experiences - much like the content we produce on social media that we’ve become renowned for as well as our cars and service - and the way we operate our business day-to-day."

Dicksons has always been family-run, and recently completed a management buy-out, currently employing more than 80 people across 30 different roles. He continued, "The fun, engaging nature of the pantomime aligns perfectly with our ethos of creating enjoyable and memorable experiences - much like the content we produce on social media that we’ve become renowned for as well as our cars and service - and the way we operate our business day-to-day. We’re thrilled about the partnership, as it not only allows us to support a popular local tradition but also offers us an opportunity to be actively involved in bringing joy and laughter to families throughout the festive season and join in with the spirit of community and celebration.”

Connecting With Our Community

We’re also excited to bring the magic of panto directly to our audience through fun and interactive social media content. It’s no secret that we love having a bit of fun with the videos we share, so getting into the panto spirit this season will be exciting for our team, many of whom enjoy getting involved in the video creation process – especially when they’re a little bit cheeky.

Our Group Creative and Content Executive, Craig Noble, shared a sneak peek of what’s to come: “As part of our partnership with Eden Court, we’ll collaborate closely to produce engaging content across our social media channels, from unique videos to interactive posts that bring the pantomime experience to life. We’ll also be running ticket giveaways and exclusive experiences for our followers, ensuring that even more people get to enjoy the magic of the show.”

At Dicksons, we’re proud to invest in our local community, and this partnership with Eden Court is a perfect fit for our values. We can’t wait to see you all at the panto over the coming years – oh no we can't!
